New beginnings

Mykonos, Greece '13

I was 15 the last time I blogged. A just-turned-teen blogging about the silliest things which I don't even want to remember. Just because everyone else was doing it. I think I even had the funniest URL for my blog, HA.

I've thought about starting up a blog again several times before, but never really got the chance to. Part of me that was nervous told me it was a dumb and silly idea. Then again, it could still be a dumb and silly idea. I mean, who would read my blog? Or why would anyone want to read what I have to say? Yet here I am, trying to start a blog with this ridiculous post about starting a blog. I think I humour myself too much.

Maybe the reason why I'm starting this blog is mainly for myself. Maybe even though no one could be reading this, this could be my online diary. Something I myself can look back to and reminisce (or laugh). I've always wanted to scrapbook. Travels, birthdays, or simply just days I want to remember for the rest of my life. But I mean, come on. Scrap booking takes up a lot of time, and believe me when I say I could be the biggest procrastinator you will ever meet. So that's crossed out.

Then there's actual journaling. Using a legit pen or pencil and a legit book. Jotting down day-to-day life. In fact, I do do that. Just that it's such a hassle to get pictures I've taken developed. Also, it's costly.

You could say blogging is the most time and cost efficient. Typing is always faster than writing. Inserting a picture is always faster than cutting and pasting a photograph AFTER you return from the store to have it developed. And you save the money from developing. Now isn't that win, win and win?
